Above, and below are some photos of my latest guitar... The body's made with a center core of Cherry Wood, then a Walnut Veneer layer, capped front and back with Flame/Curly Maple. All the colors are natural... The neck is solid Maple with a bone nut. The bridge is a Schaller wrap-around, and the tuners are Locking Grovers. The pick-guard and cover plates are brass. The electronics are fashioned after Jerry Garcia's guitars, using an Effects Loop and a unity gain buffer; it also has an on-board modified Tube Screamer Clone. There is a true bypass switch for the Tube Screamer, one for the Unity Gain Buffer and Tube Sreamer combined, and one for the Effects Loop. Everything is shielded with 40 gauge copper sheeting. The pickups are homegrown, are using Alnico magnets and have been wound to approximately 6K ohms each (the neck being the coolest, and the bridge the hottest)

Here's a photo of a brass pickup ring/pick guard I made for an Ibanez modification...
Below are some photos of my homemade pickup winder and a few of the first pickups I made. Please contact me if you are interested. I've been very happy with them, and use them exclusively in the Jerrycaster pictured above, my main guitar now "o)
